The DC Preservation League (www.dcpreservation.org) is seeking to fill one paid internship position for the summer of 2008. The individual selected will have the opportunity to work within various aspects of historic preservation including education, grassroots organizational management, advocacy, landmarking/research, and project review. Paid interns are expected to work 40 hours per week for 8 weeks and may require some evenings when working with volunteer committees.

Ideal candidates are historic preservation students (graduate and undergraduate).

Stipend is based on experience.

Metro Rail Pass provided

Summer internships run for 8 weeks and start in early June and end in late August. Dates are flexible.
