Preservation Massachusetts is seeking an enthusiastic, dependable and motivated individual looking for experience in Historic Preservation.

Administrative duties include but not limited to:

" Assist in event preparation, set up and breakdown

" Filing and Organizing records

" Preparation of packet materials for meeting distribution

" Answering phone and message referral

This is an unpaid yet rewarding internship opportunity with a statewide preservation organization ideal for students, recent graduates, or individuals exploring a career change who possess a background or interest in historic preservation, local history, or archival work. Candidates would be self-motivated, a self-starter and able to work well independently under the supervision of the Assistant Director and Office Manager. In Addition, the ideal candidate should also possess excellent administrative skills, writing and research abilities.

We are flexible regarding starting and ending times as well as hours and days per week.
