The DC Preservation League (www.dcpreservation.org) is seeking to fill one internship position for the summer of 2009. The individual selected will have the opportunity to work within various aspects of historic preservation including education, grassroots organizational management, advocacy, landmarking/research, and project review. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week for 8 weeks and may require some evenings when working with volunteer committees.

Ideal candidates are historic preservation students (graduate and undergraduate) or those in a similar field of study.

Small stipend provided based on experience.

Metro Rail Pass provided

Summer internships run for 8 weeks and start in early June and end in late August. Dates are flexible.
