Our intern will be significantly involved with market research and investigating current consumer and visitor trends. We need to be on top of social networking in online arenas such as LinkedIn and Twitter, so developing our online presence may be another task for our intern. We would ideally like somebody with a vocational interest in the marketing or attractions industries. Our internship would be unpaid but could provide academic credit, and we offer bonus compensation at the end of the placement.

The internship will be part-time, during the summer, preferably beginning on or around May 11th (we would like you to start as soon as possible following the end of term). The position is for 20-30 hours per week, but we are willing to adapt the hours and opportunities to conform with the conditions of academic credit at your institution.

There are no specific qualification requirements for this placement however we would prefer you to have a strong vocational or academic interest in marketing, business, communications or the attractions and leisure industries, and be studying towards a relevent degree. We suggest a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
