DC Historic Designs is offering full/part time summer internships for those who wish to gain hands on experience in the historic preservation field. The position will be shared between DC Historic Designs and its associate company, Pablo Lopez and Associates, an historic preservation contractor. Duties will include conducting historic archival research, writing project descriptions for the web site, researching and compiling databases of historic preservation firms and materials vendors, and assisting with the permitting process for preservation/restoration projects in DC. Knowledge of architectural history, design, and the permitting process is highly desirable.
