TEC Inc., an international environmental consulting firm, is seeking a staff archaeologist for its York, PA office to provide archaeological services in support of TECs environmental and NEPA projects nationwide. Successful candidate must have Masters in Anthropology/Archaeology with a minimum of 5 years experience in relevant projects in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast Region.

Position requires: experience as a PI performing field survey, site testing, and excavation; experience coordinating with SHPOs; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and research skills; proficiency in word processing and graphics software; and ability to consistently meet time and budget commitments. NEPA experience a definite plus. Familiarity with GPS preferred.

Position involves: organizing, directing, and performing archaeological field investigations; technical writing and editing for production of technical reports; preparing cultural resources portions of NEPA documents; interacting directly with clients as TEC representative; and consulting with SHPOs. Must be able to travel frequently.
