Description:

IGNITE Productions is seeking a video editing intern to help produce its first and original independent film. Successful applicant should be proficient with Final Cut Studio as well as logging, capturing and encoding video content. Video production experience is an asset. Any experience with video compositing software like Shake, After Effects and Adobe Flash animation would be a plus, but not required.

You will be working in a welcoming but deadline sensitive environment in an editing & technical capacity for about ten-fifteen hours each week. Days/hours are flexible, but commitment and reliability are key. The internship is unpaid, but there is great benefit for you as you will be able to add this independent film to your portfolio in addition to exercising skills in your field.

Qualifications:

Proficient with Final Cut Pro

Provide your own software and computer

Experience in video editing and a portfolio that shows these skills

Skills you will develop:

Video filming/editing, production, and distribution
