Carlsbad, New Mexico (population 26,000) is an established MainStreet Community seeking a full-time Executive Director to maintain an established non-profit organization based on the Main Street Four-Point Approach to downtown revitalization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be well organized, creative, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, self-motivated, energetic, and an excellent communicator capable of functioning effectively in an independent environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with a bachelor's degree and/or experience in marketing, public relations, economic or community development, planning, historic preservation, non-profit administration or business management. Bookkeeping and office management skills are considered a plus.
