This is a part-time position with the potential of evolving into a full-time position. Will be responsible for building and leading the Cultural Resources team performing archaeological field work. Preferred candidates will have experience completing archaeological site records and familiarity with the Section 106 process, PennDOT experience is a plus. Will have direct responsibility for analyzing the job, preparing price and tech proposals and for carrying out the job. Will be able to determine the area of potential effect (APE) for the project to identify all potentially significant cultural resources located within the APE. Must be well aware of the clearances required for both PennDOT (public) and private projects.

Basic Qualifications:

" Bachelors Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.

" A minimum of 3 years experience in Archaeology

" Register of Professional Archaeologist (RPA)

" Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and perform detail-oriented work.

" Excellent oral and written communication skills.

" Ability to travel and experience with working on project teams.
