EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach is a private, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to the preservation of the historic, architectural, and cultural heritage of Palm Beach, Florida. Through advocacy initiatives, educational programs, architectural resources, and cultural events, the Foundations goal is to encourage the community to learn about and save the historic buildings that truly make Palm Beach special.

We seek a proven leader with career experience in the historical preservation field. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an acute knowledge of architectural preservation as well as the methods by which archives and library collections are preserved, organized and utilized within a public setting, particularly in regard to the use of such resources for the greater education, enlightenment and enjoyment of people of all ages. The qualified candidate will also possess a management approach that is empowering of highly-skilled staff yet disciplined through business acumen to attain accountability, fiscal responsibility and professionalism. We seek a leader who can clearly articulate a message of vision and direction, particularly to those individuals, foundations and corporations who have the desire and the capacity to make a significant and long term impact through their gifts, grants and sponsorships.
