CHS is currently engaged in a project to catalogue and re-house an extensive collection of architectural drawings, primarily of earl 20th-century domestic architecture in Hartford and West Hartford. The interns duties may include accessioning, cataloguing, scanning, and re-housing large and fragile drawings and blueprints. Good experience for those interested in architectural history or historic preservation. Qualifications: Applicants should have a background in architecture, architectural history and/or art history. Good computer skills are also essential. Availability: One position each semester, 7 or more hours per week, to be scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Unpaid. |
