The Phoenix Cultural Resources Section of HDR Engineering, Inc. (HDR) is looking to fill the position of junior project manager (Cultural Resources Specialist I) for work on various CRM projects throughout Arizona and the Southwest. Applicants will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Anthropology with at least four years of field experience (survey, monitoring, testing and/or data recovery) in the Southwest; experience preparing technical reports; and a clear understanding of federal and state historic preservation laws, such as Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended. Preferred candidates are highly motivated team players who possess strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in extreme/adverse conditions (for example, tolerate temperatures over 100 degrees, hike rugged topography, lift loads up to 40 lbs). This position is full-time with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural history or closely-related field. Masters preferred. Previous work experience in cultural resource projects preferred Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Self starter with excellent writing and communication skills. Willingness to work under varied weather conditions.
