Bergen County Department of Parks, Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs, seeks a summer historic preservation intern to assist with updating the historic sites surveys of municipalities in the metropolitan NYC County and with other historic preservation activities of the county agency. Candidate must have excellent organizational, research, computer, and photography skills and have a valid automobile driver’s license. Graduate work in historic preservation, architectural history, museum studies or American history preferred, but will consider an undergraduate with knowledge of American architecture and the other required skills. Previous historic sites survey experience not required, but a plus. Pay is $10 per hour. |
