SSHSA is in immediate need of a qualified non-profit specialist to cultivate new members, manage current membership data, and assist in directing iniatives aimed at capacity building and sustainability. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office software, PastPerfect Software, as well as having social media skills are musts. Solid interpersonal communication skills, such as the ability to represent SSHSA with other national maritime, heritage, and preservation organizations, is very important. A track record of successful experience in fundraising, capacity building, and non-profit management is desirable. A master's degree is preferred but consideration will be given to applicants with a bachelor's degree coupled with related professional experience.
