MacRostie Historic Advisors is seeking an experienced Associate for its Northeast office based in Boston. The successful candidate will provide client service for state and federal historic tax credit applications, oversee daily client relationships, research and write National Register, landmark submission and HPCA Part 1 and 2 nominations, and interface with local, state and federal regulatory agencies. This is a position with tremendous growth opportunity and a great work environment! Successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience and Master’s degree in historic preservation or closely related field. Knowledge of and work experience in federal historic preservation programs required with a successful track record of Part 1, 2 and 3 certification. Candidate must have: the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; proficient skills in Microsoft Office software, and; the ability to multi-task and move back and forth between different aspects of the position and work independently. Some comfort working with digital images and image software, as well as online and historical research experience preferred. Some travel is required. Salary commensurate with experience.
