Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. seeks an Architectural Historian to work out of our Hurricane, WV office. This is a full-time salaried position. The successful candidate must have a Master's degree in historic preservation, architectural history, history or related field, meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for professional qualifications in architectural history, have excellent technical writing skills, be able to work within project budgets and schedules, be responsive to clients, work well independently and as a team member, and have the flexibility to travel. Previous experience in West Virginia, Virginia and Ohio and in the following areas is a plus: Section 106 compliance; Section 110 compliance; wind farm and coal mining effect determinations; National Register of Historic Places nominations; developing in-depth historic contexts; HABS/HAER documentation; and historic structures reports. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience. CRA Employees are required to undergo a background check that includes driving history. CRA reserves the right to perform drug/alcohol testing as a condition of continued employment. |
