The Central Park Conservancy (CPC), with a grant from Charles Evans Hughes Memorial Inc. Foundation, is offering summer internships in outdoor sculpture conservation. Interns will be involved in the hands-on examination, documentation, preservation and conservation of the bronze and stone sculpture in Central Park, New York City. Applicants must be graduate students in historic preservation or objects conservation. Applicants must possess a current United States issued driver’s license or equivalent. Interns must be capable of lifting heavy objects and working from scaffolding. The internship period will start on Wednesday, June 1st and will conclude on Friday, August 5th, 2011. |
