Under general supervision of and stationed at the Department of Arkansas Heritage, Historic Preservation Program. Conducts reviews of federal undertakings as per Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended and the implementing regulations set forth at 36 CFR Part 800. Applicant with a Master's degree in anthropology, archeology, or a related field with a specialization in archeology preferred. Applicant with at least one year of archeological field experience at a supervisory level preferred. Applicant that has written an archeology thesis or published an article in a major archeology journal preferred. |
