The City of Lake Oswego is currently seeking a graduate student enrolled in an accredited program in historic preservation to assist with historical site survey work, preparation of a Reconnaissance Level Survey and to assist with preparing a grant to stabilize the historic Workers’ Cottage. The individual selected for the internship will report to the City’s preservation planner and work under the supervision of a professional historic preservation consultant.

Time frame: We are looking for a part time intern from June through August. Please address your availability in your cover letter.

A successful candidate must be organized and detail- oriented with excellent communication skills and an ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Applicant must be familiar with performing Reconnaissance Level Surveys, Intensive Level Surveys determining National Register Status and grant writing.
