The Ohio Historical Society is sponsoring an AmeriCorps program for history that has full-time positions open across the state in historic preservation and in public history leadership (capacity building, heritage tourism, commemoration). Please share this information with your students and recent graduates who are interested in hands-on public history experience. The positions are on the AmeriCorps website at www.americorps.gov. Position Information: § Historic preservation survey § Public history regional leadership § Full-time at 1700 hours § Health care and a stipend ($12K) provided § Education funding ($5500) provided, applicable to tuition or student loans |
