We recently launched a $40 million capital campaign, and we seek a Development Associate who loves building relationships and cultivating major ($5,000+) gifts, while helping to put on several major events per year. Previous non-profit fundraising / events planning experience preferred, but we sometimes hire outside the box, for the right person.

Position is based at our downtown DC national HQ; some travel required (25-35%). Qualities sought, in this order: Exceptional work ethic, incredible initiative, polished professionalism, copious creativity, superior entrepreneurial spirit, crazy computer skills (all Microsoft Office programs), and the ability to perform as part of a highly functioning and collegial team as well as in one-on-one situations with little or no supervision.
