Dovetail Cultural Resource Group (Dovetail) is currently accepting applications for a summer archaeological lab intern in our Fredericksburg, Virginia office.  The position is full time (32 to 40 hours per week) and will last from approximately mid-May through mid-August with the potential to continue as a part time position in the fall depending on workload and residency of staff. Tasks will include artifact processing (washing and labeling), preparation of artifacts for curatorial delivery, artifact photography, and lab-based data entry. Additional tasks may be assigned depending on company needs and skill-set of applicant.

Ample opportunities will be provided to learn about the professional world of cultural resource management and archaeological studies. The positions can be organized as a formal paid internship with college credit or as stand-alone employment depending on your needs.

Pay will be from $8.00 to $10.00/hour depending on experience.
