Cultural Heritage Research Services, Inc. (CHRS) has an immediate short-term opening for an Architectural Historian to work out of our main office in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. CHRS specializes in Section 106 compliance work and preservation planning. This work includes transportation projects, telecommunications projects, and planning projects of all sizes.

A Masters degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Urban Planning or related field is preferred, however candidates with a Bachelors degree in a related field may be considered. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, historic research and field work associated with telecommunications projects.

This position will involve a substantial amount of travel. Applicants must have the flexibility to travel with short notice. Interested applicants should send resumes and references. The position will be filled immediately, so proximity to the Philadelphia area is necessary. Work is anticipated to last 2-3 months, with the possibility of extending for a longer period of time.
