The Governor William Owsley House in Lancaster, Kentucky was saved from demolition in 1993. It was restored by the State of Kentucky, dedicated Garrard County citizens, and faithful Owsley family descendants. This young museum is owned by Garrard County and is under the direction of the executive director and a board of trustees. |

We are seeking interns interested in pursuing a career in history, museum studies, historic preservation and/or similar fields. Interns will be responsible for assisting the executive director in the daily operational duties of the historic house museum. Please note, these positions are unpaid.
