We are seeking an energetic, extroverted, business-minded Director of Development to promote Pleasant Retreat and develop and manage an operating budget. Living quarters are provided (including utilities) on museum property.

Duties:

·      Advertise

·      Advocate

·      Fundraise

·      Grant Writing

·      Development

·      Plan/Execute Events

·      Community Outreach

·      Nurture Museum Membership

Qualifications:

·      Strong public speaking skills and excellent ability to write persuasively.

·      Confident budgeting and financial analysis skills.

·      Proven success in event planning.

·      Strong computer skills.

·      Time management skills.

·      Independent worker.

Education: Must hold a Bachelors degree in Philanthropic Studies, Marketing, Business, Nonprofit Management or related degree. Trained in raising funds for nonprofit organizations.

Experience: Proven success in fundraising and nonprofit management.

Salary: Self-Generated. Living quarters are provided (including utilities).
