This is advanced professional and specialized work in the development of historic preservation programs. Employees in this classification are responsible for assisting in the administration of a county preservation plan primarily through the surveying, documenting and designating of historical, architectural and archaeological sites. Duties also include assisting and advising local governments and various other organizations concerning historical preservation issues and activities and traveling throughout the county on a consistent basis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Architectural History, Planning, Architecture, Historic Preservation, or a related field. One year of professional experience in historic preservation is required. |
