The Susquehanna Museum was built in 1840 at the terminus of the Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal as the Toll Takers office and the Lock Tender's home. The museum exhibits relevant artifacts, a working model of the house and lock and, outside, a pivot bridge and the non-working lock. It is open to the public from April through October. |
