Pasadena Heritage is a community-based, non-profit organization that was founded in 1977. It is one of the oldest and largest historic preservation organizations in California and is dedicated to the preservation of Pasadena's architectural and cultural resources. The organization advocates on behalf of historic resources, educates the public about local history and the benefits of preservation, and demonstrates quality restoration through its own preservation projects. In addition to advocating to save endangered buildings, Pasadena Heritage offers a variety of educational programs including architectural tours, lectures, restoration workshops, and also runs a successful Oral History Program to collect and preserve the individual stories and personal histories of Pasadena's citizens. |

Join a dynamic team working to preserve Pasadenas architectural treasures! Pasadena Heritage, a highly respected community organization, is seeking a full-time Development Coordinator to manage, support and expand fundraising programs. The position requires a bachelors degree along with experience in fundraising and events, excellent communication and people skills, teamwork, strong computer skills, demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred candidates will have experience with donor recruitment, corporate sponsorship, membership building, special events, and grant writing. Non-profit experience, knowledge of Pasadena and local contacts, and donor database experience are also considered. |
