The incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, developing, managing, coordinating and scheduling all special events; fundraising, marketing and membership activities as well as public advocacy programs conducted for the benefit of the Seminole Tribe of Floridas Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum. The individual schedules on-site programs such as special events and traditional art activities, ensuring the Museum is staffed according to scheduled events and activities. The Visitor Services and Development Manager researches and identifies funding opportunities and designs and prepares corporate sponsorship packages and membership programs. Implements fundraising plan, develops business partners program, and manages and maintains the Museum database on members, donors and new prospects. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, History or related field is required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience coordinating membership services in a museum setting, working as marketing coordinator or experience in a similar position in the museum industry or related field is required. Proven successful grant writing skills is required. Knowledge of Past Perfect museum software is preferred. Member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is preferred. Possession of a valid Florida Drivers License is required. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must have the ability to travel to events and activities and to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
