 Two positions are available in the Office of Environment and Energy at HUD to assist with the environmental review of disaster recovery activities related to Hurricane Sandy. The position at Headquarters in Washington will focus on historic preservation issues. The position in New York City will focus on general environmental protection issues. Both are 2-year term positions.

 

For the Headquarters position in Washington, D.C. a deep knowledge of historic preservation is required, including: Experience with the National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 review of complex projects, including historic eligibility determinations and application of the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation.
