Historic Building Architects LLC

Historic Building Architects, llc (HBA) specializes in architecture, historic preservation and materials conservation to help preserve and interpret our shared cultural heritage. We seek especially to serve the needs of owners, stewards and those who care for buildings in the public realm. Design Philosophy: Assist owners and stewards of historic buildings to develop an understanding of the cultural, social and economic value of the properties. Develop a preservation plan philosophy based on research, documentation, and material investigation. Guide intervention and restoration to preserve the cultural values of historic properties for future generations. Facilitate the development of realistic preservation goals for historic properties.

Join our award-winning firm as a paid summer intern. This is an exciting opportunity to work full time with a team of talented and highly experienced architects. You will learn about historic preservation architecture as you put your skills in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop to good use. We are looking for a college or graduate student studying architecture, preferably with a focus on historic preservation, with relevant job experience and strong communication skills.
