Naval Facilites Engineering Comand (NAVFAC) is the Systems Command that builds and maintains sustainable facilities, delivers utilities and services, and provides Navy expeditionary combat force capabilities. NAVFAC manages the planning, design and construction and provides public works support for U.S. Navy shore installations around the world. KEY REQUIREMENTS •You must be a US Citizen. •Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance. •Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation. •Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period. •You must obtain and maintain a security clearance.

This position serves as a cultural resources professional at Naval Facilities Engineering Command(NAVFAC), Midwest.  The cultural resources professional's primary responsibility is to act as a technical subject matter expert in one or more specific area of cultural resources management such as prehistoric archeology, historic archeology, and historic facility preservation.

DUTIES:
Provide cultural resoursce management techical advice to seniror management/leaders.
Develop/administer environmental studies toassess the impact of proposed operations.
Prepare cultural resource planning documents in support of facility projects
Monitor technical progress and completion of established milestones of staff members.
