The Montgomery County Planning Department is seeking a Historic Area Work Permit Planner Coordinator to perform the full scope of advanced tasks related to reviewing applications for Historic Area Work Permits (HAWPs) and making staff recommendations to the Historic Preservation Commission, as well as providing technical preservation information and support to citizens and owners of historic properties. Work involves a high level of responsibility, complexity, and variety, including leading a team and providing technical guidance and expertise to other staff working on project team. Performs projects individually, including a great deal of interaction with other governmental departments and agencies and with a broad range of citizens and civic associations. Performs other related duties as assigned.
