Compiles and records gathered information into survey and computerized files, including map and location information, photographs taken during research, etc.
Researches and writes narrative histories for National Register of Historic Places nominations.
Provides information regarding historic properties and related activities to public and private groups as requested.
Performs duties related to ensuring timely distribution and completion of Determination and Eligibility sessions for potential National Register properties.
Reviews proposed building projects to assess their impact on historical sites and conformance with federal regulations.
Participates in training workshops for the public and/or researches and writes publications on historic preservation programs.
Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
