The Trenton Museum Society seeks a part-time director to work closely with the Societys Board of Trustees in promoting the Trenton City Museum and its programs.  Curatorial responsibilities include the museums collections of historic artifacts and decorative and fine arts, as well as rotating exhibits of contemporary arts.  Qualifications include a passion for the role of the visual arts in our lives and for developing new audiences, excellent communications and fundraising skills, and enthusiasm for working collaboratively with hands-on trustees.  Applicant should have museum or gallery experience and a degree in museum studies or a related field.  Opened in 1978, the Trenton City Museum resides in Ellarslie, an Italianate villa in the heart of Trentons Cadwalader Park, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted.
