The Grants Manager performs the fiscal and programmatic administration of the annual federal Historic Preservation Fund grant from the National Park Service. The Grants Manager also administers all aspects of the SHPO Certified Local Government Grants and the Michigan Lighthouse Assistance Program grants. This includes program development and implementation, federal reporting, analysis of compliance, budget tracking and assessment, reporting and monitoring; research analysis and development of other sources of funding. The Grants Manager serves as a resource person for those seeking funding; and is the recognized resource person to assist the SHPO Director in completing budget research, assessment and reporting
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. A degree in Historic Preservation, Business, Finance or a related field is preferred.
