Building Conservation Associates, Inc. (BCA) seeks an Historic Preservationist to join the technical staff in our New York City office. The Preservationist will participate in a wide range of activities related to the study and regulatory review of historic buildings, including archival research, creation of applications for the 20% federal rehabilitation tax credit, and development of submissions to regulatory agencies such as local landmarks commissions and state historic preservation offices. Excellent research and writing skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential for this position.


Candidates for this position should have a graduate level degree in Historic Preservation, or be able to provide comprehensive documentation of equivalent experience. Up to three years of experience working in the field of Historic Preservation is preferred.
