Historic Preservation Planner. Provide customer service regarding historic preservation (meet with citizens, other city staff, neighborhood groups as well as walk in and phone customers); process Certificates of Appropriateness for historic districts (compile and analyze data to formulate recommendation); identify issues related to historic preservation and create and maintain Historic Preservation webpage to help address needs and education; identify needs and issues and help create training module(s) for staff, Task Forces, and Landmark Commission

Bachelor's degree in planning, architecture, engineering, historic preservation or related fields. Effective oral/written communication and MS Office skills required. Bilingual skills a plus. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
