This position exists to provide technical assistance and outreach to organizations and public entities interested in applying to the State Historical Fund for grants.  Duties and responsibilities related to applications assistance include assisting with the application and selection process for competitive grants, providing advice on the policies and procedures of the program, conducting public presentations on application proceedures and policies and related preservation topics, and advising potential grant applicants on building capacity.  This position will also provide technical assistance and project management for awarded projects.  After an initial 4-12 month training in Preservation Outreach and Historic Preservation Technical Assistance, this position may be eligible to relocate to a newly established South Central and South Eastern Colorado Field Office.
