Growing non-profit with a full-time staff of 7 and annual budget of approx. $800,000 seeks a highly-organized and dedicated self-starter to administer and expand the organizations individual membership program, design and coordinate electronic and print communications, and act in a support role for a variety of the organization's fundraising and operational activities.

Duties include:

  • Manage all administrative aspects of the individual membership program, including generating solicitations and acknowledgements, processing and tracking income, generating reports, analyzing and presenting data, and soliciting new members
  • Schedule, design, and execute mailings for various fundraising and advocacy efforts
  • Update and maintain the organization's website and other interactive features
  • Format and send all blast emails sent by the organization
  • Design digital and print materials for special events and advocacy efforts
  • Support the annual fundraising event, including processing of ticket purchases, administrative support, and liaising with event committee

Applicant should have experience with record tracking, database management, and data analysis and report generation, as well as strong capabilities for web and print design. Applicant must be a strong writer, fast worker, able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. An interest in the preservation and education work of the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation and the neighborhoods of Greenwich Village, the East Village, and NoHo, non-profit fundraising experience, and proficiency in social media are plusses.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM databases (particularly Sage FR50), Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver), HTML/CSS, Wordpress, mass email communication tools, and USPS bulk mailing services is critical. Familiarity with Quickbooks, Paypal Merchant Services, SketchUp, and digital video editing is also helpful. 40+ hrs./week, with occasional weekend and evening work.
