  • This position is located in the Main Street Program with the Department of Cultural Development, Division of Historic Preservation and is in a Career Progression Group to an Architectural Historian 2. The position may be filled as an Architectural Historian 1 or 2 based on the qualifications of the selected applicant.
Manage the Main Street Redevelopment Incentive Grant program.
Provides design assistance for restoration and enhancement of historic commercial properties located within the Main Street Districts.
Provides visual merchandising training to Main Street merchants, as well as the enhancement of historic interiors along with merchandise placement.
Historic Preservation design experience, preferably related to a Main Street program or other downtown development type organization.
Strong background in applying the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for Rehabilitation.
Familiarity with the workings of local historic district commissions.
