CBCA seeks a Project/Office Assistant to join our team of Historic Preservation professionals.
Administrative assistant, historic preservation assistant position at growing firm focused on renewing historic places. Perform all manner of office and historic preservation project support to advance our clients and their preservation projects. The right person will fit well with our collegial, collaborative team in a small-office environment and project a professional company image with professional verbal and written communication skills through in-person, email and phone interaction.
Knowledge of preservation techniques, historic building methods, architectural styles and the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for the Treatment of Historic Building is preferred. BA in Historic Preservation or related field is preferred. Writing and research skills a must. Competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with education and experience. Desired Software Proficiencies:
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
§ Ability to prepare large-scale mailings efficiently such as with Words MailMerge
§ Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop to prepare and enhance digital photographs
§ Comfortable troubleshooting all types of office computer and printer equipment
§ Basic knowledge of HTML and/or Wordpress for CBCAs online presence
§ Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus
