The City of Arcadia is seeking a professional, skilled, team-oriented full-time Senior Planner in the Development Services Department to perform difficult and advanced level professional planning. This position is a senior-level position in the Development Services Department.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and communication skills and serve as a technical expert in planning, zoning, environmental review, historic preservation, and urban design.Salary: $6,416-$8,013/mo., plus $934/mo. medical benefit allowance.Selected candidate will also be eligible for a 5% increase at 6 months from date of hire.

The successful candidate will have at least five years of increasingly responsible professional urban planning experience including some lead supervisory experience. Education equivalent to a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban planning, geography, or a related field. A Masters degree is desirable.
