We seek a Professor of the Practice in international heritage management and historic preservation providing global comparative perspectives to the Preservation Studies Program, historically focused upon the theory and practice of historic preservation in the United States. Appointee will explore the disparate conventions and rationale for both tangible and intangible heritage preservation undertaken by private individuals, heritage organizations, and governments. Faculty will also coordinate the required internship placements in local, national, and international organizations. Faculty will contribute courses relevant to Preservation Studies, Archaeology, Architectural History, Public History, Global Studies, and other explorations of heritage, culture, and society.
