Notice to Archaeological Contractors

Proposals are being sought by the Archeological Society of Maryland, Inc. (ASM), for the services professional archaeological consultants to conduct excavation and documentation on the River Farm archeological site in Anne Arundel County in association with the Tyler Bastian Annual Field Session in Maryland Archeology (an 11-day public archeology program of the ASM and the Maryland Historical Trust).  The project will be implemented using funds awarded through the National Park Service Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Fund, and administered by the Maryland Historical Trust. 

 It is anticipated that the project will require a Field Director and a Lab Director, both of whom will work under the direction of C. Jane Cox of the Anne Arundel County Department of Planning and Zoning, who will serve as the Principal Director. The ASM's ceiling price for the project is $22,000. The proposed project start date is May 17, 2016 and the project must be completed by September 2017.
