We are looking for a Cultural Resources Studio summer intern for a full-time position to enhance our team at Page & Turnbull, a preservation architecture and planning firm in San Francisco. You will be part of our Cultural Resources Studio, working closely with architectural historians and preservation planners to prepare cultural resource planning documents. Typical projects include Historic Resource Evaluations, Historic Context Statements, Historic Resource Surveys, and Historic American Building Survey (HABS)projects.
Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in architectural history, historic preservation, art history,publichistory,orurbanstudiesand/orcandidatesmustcurrentlybeworkingonagraduate degree in one of those fields. Minimum qualificationsinclude:
ú Outstanding research, writing, proofreading, and editingskills.
ú Ability to work on ateam.
ú Assistance in the production of reports that require excellent written, verbal, and graphic design skills.
ú Fluency with Microsoft Word, experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. GIS and AutoCAD a plus, but notrequired.
ú Knowledge of architectural history and historic buildingtechniques.
