The field technician position will serve as a team member within the Tribal Historic Preservation Office of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This is a full time permanent position. Work for the position will be mostly field oriented, though field technicians are also responsible for writing technical reports and using GIS to produce high quality maps.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, history or related field. Previous fieldwork experience is required. Although not required, preference will be given to those with GIS or report writing experience. Must possess (or be able to obtain one quickly) a valid Florida Drivers License. Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Must have the ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
