The Department of Architecture at Texas A&M University invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor for Fall 2017.
ARCHITECTURAL HISTORIC PRESERVATION:
Successful candidates must demonstrate professional design experience and an established body of recognized peer-reviewed scholarship and research in Historic Preservation. Responsibilities will include teaching design studio and courses in Historic Preservation, and participation in the research and outreach activities of the Center for Heritage Conservation. A terminal professional graduate degree is required.
Teaching opportunities are available for undergraduate and graduate levels. All positions have responsibilities that include mentoring masterís final studies, masterís thesis and doctoral dissertations. The Department is committed to design inquiry as central to its mission to support the architectural professions. The successful candidate will demonstrate abilities to contribute to the Department of Architecture through teaching, research, and service. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications for all candidates.
