Reporting directly to the Tribal Technical Director, the successful candidate's responsibilities will include the following:

  • Submit detail of new projects to the FCC's Tower Construction Notification System (TCNS)
  • Maintain and manage all TCNS notifications in appropriate project work spaces in our systems
  • Prepare and send consultation letter for tribal agencies with applicable supporting documents
  • Receive and save tribal responses to appropriate project work spaces in our systems
  • Follow up with tribes as necessary
  • Notify and update NEPA authors and client managers when tribal consultation in complete
  • Communicate clearly and directly with client managers and NEPA authors to provide status updates on pending tribal consultation services
  • Work with in-house production team to ensure the timely delivery of tribal correspondence by performing regular, as needed, reviews to identify and address any letters on staff hold; pending tribal payment checks; or any tribal checks in file in Production for more than 2 weeks
  • Establish and maintain strong, beneficial and productive relationships with Native American Tribes
  • Work directly with Tribal Technical Director to improve upon EBI's tribal consultation protocols and efficiencies

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • A professional degree in Native American Studies, Anthropology, Archaeology or Environmental Studies
  • Prior experience with Section 106/SHPO consultation and NEPA reports conducted for wireless carriers, tower companies, acquisition firms or lenders is a plus
