The City of Aspen is seeking a planner to join our dynamic team.  The right candidate will handle multiple priorities in a faced-paced environment, work on innovative and cutting-edge planning concepts, and join a highly-knowledgeable professional team dedicated to one-another and ensuring our community fosters a real sense of place.  

The City is seeking to fill one planning position; which, depending on experience and qualifications, may range from a Planner Technician to a Senior Planner.  Strong preference for individuals with historic preservation experience. Salary dependent on qualifications. 

Position Summary: Performs a variety of complex administrative and technical duties to provide support and service to the public and Community Development Department.  Professional planning levels distinguished by required education and experience, and increasing complexity in case load, policy planning, and land use job duties.
